Bhagavaan's Names

Bhagavaan has different names according to carrying different things in His 4-arms form.
His one hand holds Shankh denotes from which all existence originates;
His another hand holds lotus; The petals of the lotus are believed to symbolize
the unfolding of creation;
His another hand holds discus (which always returns by itself after being thrown); and
His another hand holds a mace.
The discus and the mace reputedly were obtained by Him as rewards for defeating the
God Indra.
Vishnu is said to possess also a special sword called Nadaka and a special bow called
Shaarng.
