This Khand covers the pages 610-1001 (390 pages) of the book. Importance of Badaree Naath; Gangaa; Tulasee, Shaaligraam, Prayaag Teerth, various kinds of Daan (charities); about Shani Dev; various Vrat; Ekaadashee of all months; worship of Yam Raaj and Dwaadashee Vrat; Vishnu Sahastranaam; story of devotee Pundareek; importance of Vishnu and various flowers to use in His worship; Shankhaasur, Kaartik and Maagh Snaan and Vrat; Narasinh Chaturdashee; Geetaa; Bhaagvat Kathaa; Avataar stories - Matsya, Koorm, Narasinh, Vaaman, Parashuraam, Raam, and Krishn./br> Vaaman Avataar for Bali Mahaadev Jee said - "Hey Paarvatee, Prahlaad had the son named Virochan and Virochan had the mighty son Bali. Bali knew Dharm very well, spoke Truth, had controlled his Indriyaan, was pious and a great devotee of Hari. He was so mighty that he had won the whole Tri-Lok. During his reign, Prithvi produced grains without tilling, all cows gave full milk, and all trees were laden with fruits and flowers. All people observed their own Dharm. He was very proud of his might. Maharshi Kashyap Jee found his son Indra without his kingdom, so he started doing Tapasyaa with his wife with the desire of doing good to him. He observed Payo Vrat with his wife and worshipped Janaardan. After that also he continued serving Hari for 1,000 years. Hari then appeared with Lakshmee before them. Kashyap got very happy to see them. They prayed them. Bhagavaan said - "You have served me well, I am pleased with with you, you may ask any Var you wish for." Kashyap Jee said - "Deveshwar, Bali has won Tri-Lok forcefully, you do some good for my Devtaa sons. Somehow you defeat Bali and return Tri-Lok kingdom to my son Indra." Vishnu said - "So be it." Then Aditi became pregnant and after 1,000 years she gave birth to Vishnu in the form of Vaaman. He was in a Brahmchaaree guise. All Devtaa started praying Him. He asked Devtaa as what He should do. Devtaa said - "Madhusoodan, At this time Bali is doing a Yagya, and on such an occasion he cannot refuse to give anything to anybody, so you may ask Tri-Lok kingdom from him." So Vaaman came to Bali's Yagya. As Bali saw a Brahmchaaree, he got up from his Aasan, welcomed him and offered him a flower Aasan. Then he worshipped and said to him - "The guest is always a form of Vishnu, therefore you are Vishnu in person, tell me what can I do for you? Today I am blessed by worshipping you. Whatever you want to ask from me, tell me soon." Vaaman Jee said - "Mahaaraaj, Give me three steps land, because land donation is the best among all Daan. Who donates land, and who takes land, both are Punya Aatmaa." Bali said - "As you wish." and took Sankalp to donate the land. Seeing this his Purohit Shukraachaarya said - "Raajan, He is Vishnu Himself. He has come here at the request of Devtaa and wants to take Tri-Lok from you. Therefore do not donate Him any land, you may donate any other thing, but not the land." Hearing this Raajaa laughed at him and said to him patiently - "Brahman, I have done all this Punya to please Vaasudev, so if Vishnu Himself has come here, then I am blessed today. I will not hesitate to give even my life to Him. Therefore today I will donate this Braahman three Lok." After having said thus, he washed Vaama's feet, took Sankalp of donating land and said - "I am blessed today by donating you the land. Take the land wherever you want." Vishnu said to Bali - "Now I measure this Prithvi." and assuming His Viraat Roop He measured Prithvi in one step. Then He said - "This Prithvi is 500 million (50 Crore) Yojan including the seas, mountains, rivers, islands etc. Now what should I do?" Bhagavaan's Viraat Roop was ery glorious. Even Brahmaa Jee and I also could not see it. Bhagvaan's that step crossed the whole Prithvi and proceeded even 100 Yojan more. At that time Bhagavaan bestowed Bali with Divine sight and gave him His Darshan. Seeing that Roop, there was no limit of joy of Bali. He got tears of joy in his eyes. He immediately prayed Him with Stotra and said - "Prabhu, I am blessed today by your Darshan, you may take these three Lok." Then Vishnu proceeded His second step upwards. It reached at the end of Brahm Lok crossing Nakshatra, Grah, and Dev Lok, still the space fell short. Seeing Bhagavaan's foot in Brahm Lok, Brahmaa Jee washed His foot by his Kamandal's water. That Teerth-like water dropped on Meru Parvat and to make the world holy, it started flowing in all the four directions in four streams - Seetaa, Alaknandaa, Chakshu and Bhadraa. The stream flowed in South of Meru was named as Alaknandaa. She flowed in three streams that is why it was called "Tri-Pathagaa" or "Tri-Srotaa". This holy Gangaa got known by three names - in Swarg Lok it was known as Mandaakinee, in Paataal Lok it was known as Bhogvatee, and In Mrityu Lok it was known as Gangaa. Paarvatee, Whe Gangaa was falling from Meru Parvat, I kept her on my head to make myself holy. Later Raajaa Bhageerath and Tapaswee Gautam prayed me to give Gangaa to them for the good of the world and I gave her to them. Gautam took whichever Gangaa, she was called Gautamee (Godaavaree), Bhageerath took whichever Gangaa, she was known as Bhaageerathee. Bhagavaan gave Rasaatal to Bali and appointed him the King of all Daanav, Naag and water creatures for one Kalp. Thus Vishnu returned the three Lok to Indra." Parashuraam Avataar Mahaadev Jee said - "There has been a great Rishi in Bhrigu's lineage, named Jamadagni. He did Tapasayaa on the banks of Gangaa River to please Indra. Being pleased with this Indra appeared before him and asked him to ask for any Var. Jamadagni Jee aid - "Give me Surabhi cow." Indra gave Surabhi cow to him and Jamadagni started living like second Indra. He married King Renuk's daughter Renukaa. Then Jamadagni did a Putreshti Yagya and pleased Indra with it. Indra bestowed him with a son and when the time came Renukaa gave birth to a very mighty son, who was a part Avataar of Vishnu. Pitaamaha Bhrigu came to perform his Naamkarn Sanskaar and named him Raam. Because of being the son of Jamadagni, he was called "Jaamdagnya" also. He studied very well then he went to Shaalgraam Parvat to do Tapasyaa. There he met Kashyap Jee. Raam worshipped him with a great devotion and he gave him the Eternal Vaishnav Mantra to him. So he started worshipping Vishnu with that Mantra. He worshipped Him with that 6-letter Mantra for many years. Jamadagni also lived on the banks of Gangaa in peace. By the grace of Surabhi he had everything. Once Haihaya King Arjun came to Jamadagni's Aashram with his army after winning many countries. The King bowed to him, asked his welfare and donated many clothes and ornaments. Muni also felicitated him and fed the king's whole army by the grace of the cow. The king got very surprised to see that cow's powers so he asked the cow from him for himself. At the refusal of the Muni, the King took the cow forcefully. But the cow killed the King's whole army and went back to Indra. Seeing his whole army killed by a cow, Arjun filled with rage and killed Jamadagni and came back to his kingdom. On the other hand, Raam pleased Vishnu and Vishnu gave him many kinds of Divine weapons and said - "I give you my own power. With that power you kill all kings to please Devtaa. Take control of the whole Prithvi and rule it in a justified way. When the time will come you will attain my Param Pad." After saying this Vishnu disappeared and Raam came back home. Seeing his father dead, he got unconscious. When he came to senses, he went to the King and killed him. After that he killed many kings - leaving Ikshwaaku family. First it was his maternal grandfather's family, second Renukaa asked him not to kill anybody from that family. After this he did Ashwamedh Yagya and donated the whole Prithvi to Braahman. Then he went to do Tap in Nar Naaraayan's place. This was Parashuraam Jee's life. He was the Avataar of Vishnu's anger, that is why whatever he did in the pride of his power, one should not worship it. One should worship only Raam and Krishn, because they are fulfilled with their Divine qualities and if worshipped can give one Moksh."
