Puraan | Notes
Ask health from Soorya Dev; wealth from Agni Dev; Gyaan from Shiv Jee; and Moksh
from Janaardan.
Whosoever does not win Kaam (lust and desires), Krodh (anger), Lobh (greed), Moh
(intense love), Mad (pride) and Matsar (intense pride) - these six enemies, he has
to do many Karm in spite of his unwillingness to do any Karm."
Insult, praise, respect, disrespect etc. belong only to this physical body and
this body's imagination is only because of not knowing Prakriti and Purush properly.
When we consider this body as our soul then we start thinking "This is me"
and "This is mine", and this is the root of discrimination and this causes
one feeling pain of abuse and teasing etc.
As according to Kaal, fruits appear, stay, grow, ripe, spoil and destroy on the tree,
in the same way the following six characteristics - birth, living, growing result,
deteriorate and death - are only related to this body.
Mool Prakriti, Mahat-Tattva, Ahankaar and Panch Tanmaatraa (eight elements) make up
Prakriti. Prakriti has three Gun (Sat, Rag, Tam) and 16 Vikaar (10 Indriyaan, one Man,
5 Mahaa Bhoot) All joined together make a human body. This body is of two types -
Sthaavar and Jangam.
In spite of being poor, one should not attempt to earn money to do any Dharm Kaarya,
because as Python lives without doing anything, people can also live without doing
anything. Whatever happiness is there in inactiveness, that cannot be got in running
after wealth and fulfilling one's desires. As a man has no fear of stones etc by
wearing shoes, in the same way who has contentment, he always has happiness. Hunger
and thirst are satisfied, anger is also gone after some time, but the greed never goes
away, it has no end. Even the learned people fall for their discontentment. Hey Dharm
Raaj, Win Kaam by leaving intentions, win anger by leaving desires, win greed by leaving
wealth and win fear by thinking on Tattwa. Win physical pains by kindness, Daivik pains
by Samaadhi, spiritual pains by Yog, and sleep through Saattwik food.
