Rambhaa Triteeyaa Vrat
Krishn Jee said - Now I tell you about Rambhaa Triteeyaa Vrat which destroys all sins, gives sons and Saubhaagya. This Vrat ends the quarrels arisen with co-wives. I tell you the same method which Shiv Jee told Paarvatee Jee.

In Maargsheersh Maas, on the 3rd day of Shukla Paksh, one should intend to do this Vrat with this Mantra ( see this Mantra on p 402). Thus intending, one (the man or woman) should take bath and worship Paarvatee. In the night he should drink Kush water, and next day feed Braahman and give Dakshinaa of gold and salt. He should offer food according to his capacity to Shiv Jee. In all the 12 months one should worship Paarvate with different names, eat different things in the night, and give different things in Dakshinaa.

In Paush Maas, drink cow urine, and give gold and Jeerak. This gives the fruits of Vaajpeya and Atiraatra Yagya, he lives in Indra lok for the whole Kalp and in the end goes to Shiv Lok.

In Maagh Maas, worship Paarvatee with the name of Sudevee, drink Gomaya in the night and sleep alone, give gold and Kesar to Braahman. The Vratee lives in Vishnu Lok for one Kalp then goes to Shiv Lok.

In Phaalgun Maas, worship Paarvatee with the name of Gauree, drink cow's milk in the night, give gold and Kaduhund. This gives the fruits of Vaajpeya and Atiraatra Yagya.

In Chaitra Maas, worship Paarvatee with the name of Vishaalaakshee, eat yogurt in the night and give gold and Kumkum (red vermilion) to Braahman. This gives Saubhaagya.

In Vaishaakh Maas, worship Paarvatee with the name of Shreemukhee, eat Ghee in the night and sleep alone, give betel leaf and salt to Braahman. This gives handsome sons.

In Jyeshth Maas, worship Paarvatee with the name of Naaraayanee, and white flowers, eat salt in the night, sleep alone, and give betel leaf and gold to Braahman. This gives Shiv Lok.

In Aashaadh Maas, worship Paarvatee with the name Maadhavee, drink sesame seed water in the night, and give gold and jaggery to Braahman.

In Shraavan Maas, worship Paarvatee with the name of Shreedevee, touch cow's horn and drink water, and give gold and fruits to Braahman. This fulfills all wishes.

In Bhaadapad Maas, worship Paarvatee with the name of Harataalee, drink buffalo's milk. This gives Saubhaagya and in the end Shiv Lok.

In Aashwin Maas, worship Paarvatee with the name of Giriputree, drink Tandul mixed water, give gold with sandalwood to Braahman. This gives the fruits of all Yagya.

In Kaartik Maas, worship Paarvatee with the name of Padmodbhavaa, drink Panchgavya, wake in the night, offer food to Braahman couple, and give Dakshinaa of flower garland, clothes and jewelry. One should feed maidens also.

After doing this for one year, one should do Udyaapan of this Vrat. Make a gold idol of Umaa Maheshwar, establish them in a Mandap, and worship them methodically with a cooper pot full of Laddoo.

By worshipping Paarvatee thus, whatever one gets, I am unable to describe that.  Since this Vrat was first done by Rambhaa, that is why it is called Rambhaa Vrat."
