There is a lot of very famous English literature which is very necessary to know in relation to Indian literature. Only British and American literature has been written in English language. You will find here many famous names and many famous books. If you have read literature in English language, this list is a reminder to you to your old days.

Christie, Agatha (20th century) - Crime Novelist
Author of almost 80 crime novels and some theater plays; particularly featuring the detectives Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple, have given her the title the 'Queen of Crime' and made her one of the most important and innovative writers. include,

Fleming, Ian (20th century) - Thriller Writer
Creator of James Bond 007 in 1952 while on holiday at his Jamaican estate, Golden Eye. Fleming chronicled Bond's adventures in 12 novels, including
(1) Casino Royale 1953,
(2) Live and Let Die 1954,
(3) Dr No (1958)
(4) Goldfinger (1959)
(5) Thunderball (1961), and nine short story works.
