Patiently Kaushalyaa wished him good doing Aachman with water and performed some rites for the good of Raam. said - "Now it is not good to stay back. You should go to forest soon and come back soon after finishing the exile term. The same Dharm will protect you by which you are obeying your parents. Devtaa and Maharshi will guard you in the forest. Devotion and dedication to your parents and following the path of truth will guard you and keep you live long. Whatever weapons you have received from Vishwaamitra Jee, they will protect you. Brahmaa, animals, birds, all creatures, Soorya, Chandra and all stars will do good for you. Whatever Jap Tap I have done for whichever Devtaa, all those Devtaa will protect you. Pooshaa, Bhag, and Aryamaa (three of the 12 sons of Aditi), Lokpaal and Indra should do good to you. Flesh-eater animals will love you, because I will worship them after you have left and till you come back." Thus Kaushalyaa, wishing welfare to Raam in forest, asked Braahman to do Havan to pacify all hurdles. Kaushalyaa prayed for Raam's safety and security in forest and she herself donated money to Braahman. She got Braahman to bless Raam with honey, yogurt, unbroken rice, and clarified butter with several hymns and prayers. She blessed Him many times. She said - "With whichever felicity Indra killed Vritraasur, let the same felicity occur to you. With whichever blessings of Vinataa Garud brought Amrit, let that blessing happen to you. Whatever good fortune occurred to Vishnu at the time taking three feet, let the same good fortune happen to you too." Then she placed some unbroken rice on her son's head, smeared varieties of sandal pastes on His body, She tied a herb named Vishalyakaranee on Raam's arm, did Jap of Mantra, hugged Him and sent Him off to forest. Sarg 26-Raam Tells Everything to Seetaa Raam touched Kaushlyaa's feet and went to Seetaa's palace. Raam was going to Seetaa's palace. Public was standing on the way for His Darshan. Kaushalyaa was bidding farewell to Raam for forest, but Seetaa didn't know anything about it at all. She was happy. She did Her Poojaa (worship) and was waiting for Raam to come. Raam came to His palace lowering His head. Seetaa got scared seeing Him perturbed with anxiety and stricken with sorrow. Raam also could not hide His mind. Raam was very sad leaving Seetaa back at home. He could gather Himself no more and broke. Seetaa said - "Hey Naath, Today is your Tilak day, Learned people said that Pushya Nakshatra is auspicious for you then what is the reason? Please tell me soon why are you so much worried about? You are not looking happy. Your face is pale. Soot (see Soot-Putra) and Maagadh who sing praises are not here? Nor Braahman are here? Why the main chariot which is used for traveling and pleasure does not go ahead of you? Nor the glorious elephant is there? Your Tilak is going to take place but you don't look happy. why?" Raam said - "Seetey, Father has ordered me to go to forest. You are born in a royal family. Hear me in what sequence it happened to me. Long time ago, in a war, Raajaa gave two Var to Kaikeyee. She has asked those two Var today tying Raajaa with Dharm. In one Var she has asked exile to Raam and in second Var she has asked for throne to Bharat. So father has given throne to Bharat and exile to me in Dandak Van for 14 years. I am going to forest, that is why I have come to see you. Please be sure not to admire me in the presence of Bharat in my absence. men with power and fortune do not like other people's praises. he is a good ruler. . You should rise early, perform the worship of deities and Dasharath, respect Kaushalyaa, and other mothers as I treat all of them alike, and they all love me very much. Consider Bharat and Shatrughn as your sons, because they both are dear to me. Do not disobey Bharat, because disobeying Raajaa is not proper. Whoever behave against Raajaa, Raajaa abandons them, even thier own sons if they find other people befitting. You have always obeyed me, therefore today also I order you to stay back here and follow your Dharm."
