Index-Eesh Upanishad

It has a very famous Shlok - it is the 1st Shlok of Eesh Upanishad

"Om Poornamadah Poornamidam Poornaat Poorn Mudachyate
Poornasya Poornamaadaaya Poorn Mevaava Shishyate
Om Shaanti, Shaanti, Shaantih

Meaning - (First) There is the Whole (Poorn). Here is the Whole
From a whole another whole emerged
Even from whole a whole is drawn, The remaining still stays a whole

This holistic concept is a significant contribution of the Ved. This describes how the Lord created His Universe from. His Full Self, leaving the created man also a equivalent of a complete self. And even after the creation the creative force still remains Full and Whole. This great Mantra signifies that Man, the created, bears all the potentials of the Creator and is complete in form. This denotes the great spirit of A-Dwait - Tat Twam Asi (Thou art that). Viewed in terms of physics, the metaphysical saying is interesting and is of great value - "From a complete we have come and we too remain complete"
