Visiting Mahaakaaleshwar and Omkaareshwar Jyotirling
If someone goes in March-April, the climate will be very pleasant during these months. No need to carry any sweaters etc.

Staying
There are many hotels and lodges in Ujjain but not many at Omkaareshwar ....
Best is you stay at Indore. One day you go to Ujjain to visit Mahaakaaleshwar and return. The next day you go to Omkaareshwar and return.

One can also visit Maaheshwar where an old temple is situated on the bank of Narmadaa river.

There is no problem of vegetarian hotels, you will find in plenty in Ujjain. For Omkaareshwar one may have to go early from Ujjain and come back in the late evening because boarding places are not many at Omkaareshewar.

After reaching Ujjain, have Bhasmartee Darshan, performed early in the morning around 4.00 AM. Each individual intending to have Bhasmartee Darshan will have to register one day earlier by giving the photocopy of his identity. Please read the rules in the below link.

Omkaareshwar is reachable from ujjain and can be reached in 2.5 hrs.

Generally in all Jyotirling temples, the Temple office makes the arrangements for sale of Abhishek Aaradhanaa tickets;
