Introduction to Avataar-4

Vishnu has 9 incarnation in one Chatur-Yuga (Mahaa-Yug) --

(1) Matsya (Fish) - Utpatti (Not born from Human Mother linage)
(2) Koorm (Koorm) or Kashchap (Tortoise) - Utpatti (Not born from Human Mother linage) - No land but Sea Water only and Meru mountain (So Samudra Manthan was done on the back of Tortoise Koorm Avataar)
(3) Varaah (Half Human Half Bore) Land out of sea water
(4) Narshinh (Half Man Half Lion) = Utpatti - Not born
(5) Vaaman - Born as a small Person - Dwarf)
(6) Parshuraam - Born as Human Form from Mother, linage from Manu - daughter Devahooti's daughter Anasooyaa married to Atri. Followed the lineage to Jamadagni and his son is Parashuraam)
(7) Raam - Human Form in Ikshwaaku Kul as Son of Dasharath. Raam's sons were Lav and Kush in Kashyap Vansh. Mother linage is Aditi.
(8) Balaraam - Avataar of Shesh Naag of Vishnu-Vaasudeva. The fetus was transplanted from Devakee to Rohinee, so born from Rohinee.
(9) Krishn - Born in Yadu Vansh. Son of Vasudev in Atri's Lineage and Mother is Devakee, and fostered by Nand and Yashodaa.

Kapil Jee - A fierce sage
Genealogy and birth.
Kapil was the son of Kardam Prajaapati, son of Brahmaa, born to him from his wife Devahooti, grand-daughter of Brahmaa and the daughter  of Swaayambhuv Manu. Svayambhuva Manu got two sons named Uttaanpaad and Priyavrat and had three daughters named Aakooti, Devahooti and Prasooti. These daughters were married to Prajaapati Ruchi, Prajaapati Kardam and Prajaapati Daksh respectively. Prajaapati Ruchi and his wife Aakooti had a boy named Yagya. He was a partial incarnation of Vishnu. Prajaapati Kardam and his wifw Devahooti had 9 daughters and a son named Kapil who was  a great sage and the celebrated exponent of the Sankhya philosophy. Prajaapati Daksh and his wife Prasooti got many daughters (Devee Bhagavat, 8th Skandh; Bhaagvat Puraan says 60).

Sage Kapil was known as Chakra Dhanus also. (MBH, Udyog Parv, 109/17). After marrying to Devahooti, Kardam Jee spent their honeymoon in the air traveling throughout the world. Devahooti then delivered 9 daughters and a son named Kapil. Kardam Jee gave his daughters to Mareechi and the other sages in marriage.

Vishnu - Brahmaa's son was Manu and Manu's daughter Devahooti's one daughter was Anasooyaa who was married to Atri Rishi. She had three sons - Brahmaa, Vishnu and Shiv born in Human form as Som (Brahmaa), Dattaatreya Vishnu) and Durvaasaa (shiv) in their Ansh form.

Vishnu - Brahmaa - Atri - lineage leads to the last 9th Avataar to Krishn in Yadu Vansh. Before 5119 + year.

Vishnu - Brahmaa - Mareechi - Kashyap - two wives Diti and Aditi. Diti's sons are Daitya (Asur or Demons) - Hiranyaaksh, Hiranyakashyap etc.
And Aditi's 33 sons are Devtaa - 12 Aaditya or Soorya gods (including Varun), 11 Rudra, 8 Vasu, Dyaut etc.

When God and Devtaa have to be born in human form, He and other gods need earthly mother or mothers (in human form).
There has been said 8,400,000 (Lakh Chauraasee- 84 Laakh = 8.34 Millions) Yoni (birth lineage of all life forms or species)
A birth needs mother, so all life forms has different Yoni according to the Yoni of mother.

Mother's Linage of Devtaa - Devtaa descends from Manu (Maanav - Human) as Devahooti, Anasooyaa etc.
Sometimes even Gods have to be born as Asur, eg Vishnu as Shankhchood - read about Tulasee and Tulasee Vivaah.
Sometimes Asur also are born in Devtaa linage in Human (Manu) form. Mother Lineage Abhimanyu was born as the son of Arjun (Nar or man) and Subhadraa (sister of Krishn). Further this linage is carried forward as Pareekshit (Saved By Krishn in MBH from Brahmastra of Ashwatthaamaa), then his son Janamejaya and the further generation of Aarya in Kali Yug time.

All Lineage are recorded in Aarya King lineage by Dayaanand Saraswatee see the books of Dayaanand Saraswatee lineage.

About Lord Krishn
Although all Puraan says Lord Krishn was born on the midnight of Bhaadrapad Krishn Ashtamee. When at the midnight? at 00:00 minute IST as we all celebrate in all temples? No, No, No. Wait a minute, It was midnight of Mathuraa kingdom of Kans, and not the midnight of Vaaraanasee or any other town's time, Indian Standard Time. This time has difference of about 19 minutes. According to details in Puraan, Rohinee Nakshtra, Uditam Lagna, Mathuraa 27 deg 28' N, 77 min 41' E, IST time zone 82 deg 30' with difference of (82 min 30' - 77 min 41' = 4 min 49'. So the time difference of Mathuraa and IST = 19 min and 16 sec). Exact birthplace location in the Temple area is 27 min 30' N, 77 min 40' E. See the astronomical sky map at the midnight tonight at 00:00 - on IST 00:00. In Vaaraanasee Moon rises to Horizon but not in Mathuraa, so birth time was not at IST midnight. While Mathuraa Midnight time 00:00 it rises to above horizon showing the correct time of Janm of Krishn. People change everything, dates times Horoscopes everything but cannot change the stars and Planets in the SKY. can not ask the Moon to rise early at IST 00:00 time to celebrate Janmaashtamee. We have to realize and accept the facts of sky planets and stars there in the sky and not on the papers.

Krishn Was Born in the Rohinee Nakshatra
Bhaagvat Puraan, 10th Skandh, 3rd Chapter, every thing has been explained that Moon was rising in horizon in Rohinee Nakshtra Lagna. Although all planets' description is not given in Puraan, but if we make some imaginary calculation only and not described in the Puraan. Many are in favor that though birth was celebrated in Gokul on the Ashtamee, Krishn was born in the night so was it was Saptamee as Asthamee starts after sunrise only. Thinking that it is partially right, because Ashtamee starts after sunrise, but How can we say that Nand Jee came to know about the birth of Krishn, after the sunrise and they did not wake up before sunrise? They were not Soorya Vanshee, they woke up early in the morning before sunrise and then only the birth of Krishn was known to them. "PARODE" before sunrise and that was Ashtamee. Nand Jee might have celebrated His birth on Navamee or maybe it was second Ashtamee (Adhik Tithi Ashtamee).

Krishn's Home-Dwaarakaa
Dwaarakaa was the residence of Krishn. This is the place where Krishn was staying. This is the same place where Sudaamaa met Him and gave the gift of "Tandul-Pohaa" (Rice). So it is call "Bhent Dwaarakaa" also. Dwaarakaa Island, also known as Shankhodharaa, is situated in the Gulf of Kutch. The island has a temple dedicated to Krishn. Early historic settlement remains have been located on the island which may be dated back to 3rd century BC on the basis of a potsherd inscribed with 'Nandaakaash' in the Mauryan Braahmee script. The remains of old city of Dwaarakaa has been found near Sauraashtra belonging to 3000 BC.

Thus krishn was born in Dwaapar Yug (Iron Age) on Ashtamee of Bhaadrapad Krishn Paksha, in 3228 BC at midnight of Mathuraa time, not the midnight of present Indian Standrad Time (Mathuraa midnight time is 18 minutes later than than that of IST - means 12.18 AM). According to some scholars, Krishn was born on Wednesday, the 8th day of second fortnight in Sravana month in the year of Vishwaavasu around 3227 BC, also known as Dwaapur Yug. July 19th 3228 BC to be more accurate.

Krishn lived for 125 years and disappeared on February 18th 3102 BC on the New Moon night of Phaalgun. Phaalgun hukla Doyaj, at the place called Moksh Peepal on the bank of Hiran River, in Bhalka Teerth in Somnaath Patan Veeraaaval.

From Shubhakrit Pushya Full Moon Day to Bahudhaanya Pushya Full Moon Day, it was 36 years and adding 0-2-15 days, it was Pramadi Bright 1st Day, when Kali Yug started and Krishn finished his Avatar. (B.C 3102-2-20 at 2-27-30 PM) - Seven days later, on Bright 7th Day, Dwaarakaa city was submerged in the Ocean. Sapt Rishi were in Maghaa Star at that time, 75 years prior to Kali Yug and remained there for 25 years after Kali Yug.

25 years after the passing away of Krishn the Saptarshi left the Maghaa Nakshatra, and went to the Aashleshaa Nakshatra. At the same time Pareekshit also died and Yudhishthir also left for heaven. (Its reference is yet to be located)

Arun Upadhyay
Bhagavaan Krishn died on 17-2-3102 BC Ujjain midnight time when Kali Yug started 2 days and 2h 27m 30s  later on Chaitra Shukla Pratipadaa started. 6 months and 11 days after the death of Krishn, Pareekshit was crowned on 22-8-3102 BC when Jaya Samvatsar started according to Soorya Siddhaant system. Then Yudhishthir and other Paandav went for Abhyudaya, so, count from this day is called Jaya-Abhyudaya Shak, in which at least 5 inscriptions of Pareekshit are available for grant on solar eclipse day of 27-11-3104 BC (89th year in Jaya-Abhyudaya Shak). Yudhishthir died in 3076 when Saptarshi left Maghaa Nakshatra and Laukik era started in Kashmeer. This is written in Raaj Taranginee (1.51 and 1.52), but George Buhler has omitted it and made it his own discovery after changing some words. Original line in Raaj Taranginee chapter 1 was-

I. Yudhishthir etc went to heavens when 25 years passed in Kali."
[This was changed to (this line) and this means that in Kali Yug year 25 Saptarshi went to heavens. This is meaningless as Saptarshi are always in sky. That was only to facilitate manipulation. [This verse no longer exists in printed book of Raaj Taranginee, but all calculations of Kalhan are based on this verse only. Unless it existed, there was no other source for Buhler.]

The verses have been changed in this passage below - Some verses about Kali era are given below -

The following 2 verses were published in Indian Antiquary, June 1901 -
(a) Grant at Muni - Vndaarak on Tungabhadraa bank.

Sunil Bhattacharya
I think there is nothing wrong in the Raaj Taranginee verses 1.51 and 1.52. Yudhisthir installed Pareekshit on the throne in 3102 BCE, ie, at the start of the Kali Yug and the Paandav left for Vanavaas. After 25 years, they left for heaven in 3077 BCE (-3076). Gonand-I, the first king of Kashmeer was killed by Lord Balaraam and Daamodar-I, the son of Gonand-I was killed by Krishn. Pareekshit, the son of Abhimanyu, defeated (killed?) Gonand-II and annexed Kashmeer to his kingdom. His descendents ruled Kashmeer till the given period.
