Q-MBH-51
All Paandav were born only in the knowledge of Paandu, Kuntee and Maadree,
then how come all others knew that they were the sons of celestials?
When Paandu had died, and Maadree became
Satee with him, Rishi living in the forest brought Kuntee and her
five sons along with the remains of Paandu and Maadree to Hastinaapur.
They told Bheeshm and other people coming to receive them that "As
you know that Paandu was living in the forest abandoning everything. He
had adopted Brahmcharya, but Devtaa must have thought some other plan,
for him, so this eldest son was bestowed by Dharm Raaj himself. He got
this second son, Bheem, from Pavan Dev and the third son, Arjun, from
Indra Dev. And these twin children are of Maadree from Ashwinee Kumaar.
Thus Paandu extended his father's family line. Paandu died 17 days ago.
Maadree ascended his pyre herself. Perform their rites as you consider
appropriate. These are the remains of their bodies. These are the children
with their mother."
How Krishn and Paandav proposed Jaraasandh for a duel fight?
All the three went to Magadh in disguise of Braahman,
but Krishn made Bheem and Arjun silent saying that they had taken a vow to be
silent that is why they will talk only after midnight. At midnight, Jaraasandh
could make out that they were not Braahman as he noticed that Arjun's hands had
the marks of holding bow and shooting arrows. At this Krishn had to disclose that
they were not Braahman and they were sent there by a virtuous king to release the
princes and kings whom he had captured and wanted to sacrifice them for Rudra. So
either he should release them or he should get prepared for a duel from among the
three. Jaraasandh refused to release the kings ad opted for a duel with Bheem. That
is how they came on the point of fight. The fight continued for 14 days

Why Duryodhan Planned for Dice Game?
When Duryodhan came to attend Yudhisthir's Raajsooya Yagya, Yudhishthir appointed
him as the in chrge of gifts receiving from kings etc coming to attend the Yagya.
He did that and he found that Yudhishthir had a lots of wealth. Besides when he was
wandering in the celestial palace he found it very expensive and rare. It was so
magical for him that he saw dry land in water and water in dry land, door looked
as a wall and and the wall was a door. He was so much impressed with all this that
he started feeling sick of his wealth So when he came back to Hastinaapur, he got
very depressed. Seeing his depression, Shakuni asked him its reason, he told him
everything. Shakuni pondered over it a little and then told him that he could not
win Paandav, Krishn, Viraat etc, so there was only one way to get that wealth - he
was very good at Dice game and Yudhishthir was very fond of Dice game although he
did not know how to play. So if he could invite him to play the game he could defeat
him by cheating and the whole wealth will be his. But he had to take permission from
Dhritraashtra. Duryodhan understood this and he took the permission of playing the
game by threatening him with taking his life if he did not give permission readily.
Poor Dhritraashtra had to accept his propsal.

What Vows Paandav took in Gambling Court?
Paandav played two games with Duryodhan.
While Duryodhan ordered for disrobing Draupadee, Bheem took the first vow -
(1) Bheem squeezed his hands and took a vow "Hear O Kings, today I say this,
which has never been said before nor it will be said in future by anybody, and
if I do not fulfill this vow let me not go to ancestors. Tearing open in battle
the breast of this wretched, if I do not drink his life blood I should not go to
the regions of my ancestors." [MBH, G-3-Youth/32]
Although this he had said before too, when Duryodhan showed his thigh to Draupadee -
"Bheem filled with rage spoke - "Let me not attain the worlds attained by
his ancestors if I had not broken your thigh in war."
[MBH, G-3-Youth/33]
In the second game Bheem took vows
(1) Bheem said - "Don't think that you will be spared, I will answer you also."
And while stepping out he said - "I will slay Duryodhan, Dhananjaya will slay Karn,
and Sahadev will slay Shakuni. I repeat these words in this assembly and gods will make
my words true. I will slay this wretched Duryodhan in battle with my mace, and prostrating
him on the ground I will place my foot on his head. And as regards this wicked person
(Dushaasan) who is audacious in speech, I will drink his blood like a lion."
(2) Arjun said - "Bheem, On the 14th day from this day they will see what happens."
Bheem again said - "This Earth will drink Duryodhan, Karn, Dushaasan and Shakuni's
blood."
(3) Arjun again spoke - "To please Bheem I will slay Karn with all his followers,
I take the vow today. All this will happen in the 14th year from today if Duryodhan
does not return our kingdom upon our return."
(4) Sahadev also spoke - "O Shakuni, disgrace on Gaandhaar Desh, You must be
thinking that you have defeated us, but it is not so. I shall certainly slay you
in the battle as Bheem has said. If you wish to do anything, do it before then.
(5) Then Nakul also spoke - "I shall kill all the sons of Dhritraashtra who are
desirous of going to Yam's abode because they pleased Duryodhan and spoke harsh words
to Draupadee.

How Arjun like Kshatriya could convert himself in an eunuch?
While Arjun was in Heaven with his father Indra to take celestial
weapons from him, Urvashee named Apsaraa got attracted to him and
proposed for their marriage, but Arjun saw her as his mother, as once
she was married to Puruavaa and Pururavaa was his ancestor. At this
Urvashee got angry and ad cursed him to be eunuch for his whole life.
Arjun told this to Indra, so later Indra reduced its term to only one
year and the time whenever he wanted to be. He further said - "Do
not worry, this will be useful in your A-Gyaatvaa period." and asked
him to learn music and dance from Chitrarath. That is why he could convert
himself into an eunuch and taught Uttaraa music and dance.
How Vidur Jee died?
Vidur Jee did not die, he unite himself with Yudhishthir. When Paandav
went to see Dhritraashtra in the forest, he ran alone towards the dense
forest. Seeing him running into the dense forest Yudhishthir followed
him and stood in front of him. The then Vidur got absorbed in Yudhidhthir
limb by limb. Yudhidhthir found his own body tronger and his body lifeless.
When Yudhishthir wanted to cremate that body, a celestial voice told him
not to do so. So he came back [I suppose leaving it like that]
