			Gayatri-As I Understand By Pundit Naresh Manku Gayatri is the highest form of meditation of Supreme Being. Gayatri Mantra brings one the knowledge, wisdom, wealth, prosperity and protection. Above all it takes one to the Supreme Being to be one with Him. Gayatri Mantra: Om Bhoorbhuvah Swaha Tat Savitur Varenyam | Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi Dhiyo Yonah Prachodayaat || There have been a lot of writings about Gayatri Mantra on many different sites to explain its meaning. Its simple meaning, the way I understand, is that it is the prayer and affirmation to the Supreme Being with all His attributes - to grant us His own power. This immerses us with Him and permeate our whole being with His attributes. This can only be done by surrendering ourselves to Him.
