There are many Deviyaan. All Deviyaan are the forms of Satee and Paarvatee Jee.
Satee is the first wife of Shiv.
Paarvatee is the second wife of Shiv.
Durgaa is the name of Devee as she is worshiped in Bangaal
Kaalee is an angry form of Devee out to seek revenge. She got pacified only when
Shiv himself prostrated before her.
Bhuvaneshwaree is the Devee Mother Earth. She sustains the humanity.
Saraswatee is the Devee of learning.
Lakshmee is the Devee of wealth and prosperity.
Seetaa is the incarnation of Lakshmee herself. She represents grace under
pressure and duty towards her husband.
Raadhaa represents a woman in love.
Umaa is another form of Paarvatee when she rules the light, fertility, beauty,
crops, Earth etc.
Gangaa is the symbol of purification.
Aditi is another form of Durgaa, when she becomes the mother of all gods.
Gauree is the benign and sweet aspect of Devee. She represents wealth and good
fortune.
Jyeshthaa is the form of Devee when she brings bad luck because of our own Karm.
She rules over black magic and revenge.
Mahaadevee is the great Devee who is the sum of all Devee.
Rati is known as the Devee of sexual pleasure.
Taaraa is the benign form of Rati. She controls human sexuality to achieve
spiritual enlightenment.
Shakti is the form of Aadi Shakti - feminine energy.
Santoshee Maa is she who brings contendedness and peace to unhappy. She removes
all problems of human life.
