Kanv Rishi had two daughters - Shakuntalaa and Kushaa. Shakuntalaa was the daughter of Vishwaamitra and Menakaa. When this girl was born, Menakaa left her on Prithvi and she herself went to Swarg. The infant was taken care of Shakunt (birds) that is why when Kanv Rishi found her, he named her Shakuntalaa. He brought her up as his own daughter. She got married to Raajaa Dushyant according to Gandharv method.

Kushaa was married to Rishi  Mrikandu's son Uttam.

V-Raamaayan, 6/7/18 says that Kanv Rishi had a son named Kandu Rishi.
