Badavaanal Stotra
It is heard from the seniors that this Stotra is to be recited on Wednesdays
and should be avoided on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This is applicable to those
who recite it whenever they feel. There are people who do not light light
(Diyaa) in their houses at all, there are people who light Diyaa one time in
a day, either morning or in the evening. There are people who lit the Diyaa
only in the evening. There are people who lit the Diyaa continuously for one
day or two days or three days or for seven days and like that. Like that, to
derive a particular benefit, kindly start it on a Wednesday and continue it
till the number of days decided. I could not lay my hands on any texts so far
which can be referred as an authenticated one for this. These are heard from
some Hanumad Upaasak and grandfather's father and seniors. It will also be worth
to understand that God is not for giving any fear to anybody and what we recite
is His own names and thus it will bring only goodness. This will help to erase
any negative thoughts. You are pure soul and any sound comes out of you is pure.
ย There should be no question of fencing anyway. I know that a priest in a town of MP was doing this Mantra Pushpaanjali in a temple on Wednesday at a nominal amount of 50 INR but he got into severe troubles later. The reason is that he did not know the rituals of doing Ugra Taantrik Mantra and moreover he was not an initiated one into Mantra Shaastra and Deity Mantra. He had to suffer with various problems related to health, accidental losses and Klesh of children on account of his little knowledge. The Deity Vadavaanal Aanjaneya is in Ugra form and this is the form which is when Hanumaan was going to burn Lankaa in anger. The Deity has to be pleased with different materials and Ang Mantra and his Ugra Bhaava has to be pacified after the Prayog. This is just out of my tiny brain and out of consideration for all those who want to experience Taantrik Saadhanaa.
