Vaar Chakra From the discussion from JR Group - "Fundamentals of Vaar Chakra" If today is a Saturday [a day ruled by Saturn] - can anyone give a mathematical proof to prove planetary lordship of a day? Panchaang or a calendar is secondary and came into existence much later. If there is a celestial experiment to announce planetary lordship of a day - let's have it! When does one planet transfer power to another planet and why? Every culture had its own nomenclature and some followed a 10 day week [Egyptians], some even less [5 day week] - please follow this article on Wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Week-day_names - can be safely used as a reference. Somehow everyone now follows a standard 7-day week - who and what calculations were responsible for current week schedule to be adopted by all? If earlier methods were wrong, what calculations were wrong? How and why this synchronization took place - assuming there existed no interaction between far off lands or sea - cultures may have followed a different lordship for a given day. We did not discover a phenomena - until much later where we needed to introduce an imaginary date line - crossing which resulted in gain or loss of a day! Is there a reference to such a phenomenon in Vaidik classical texts? If so, please mention relevant Shlok or text. Every astrologer - old or new - feels obliged to suggest remedies and some of these to be done on particular day of the week - depending on planetary lordship - a mountain-full of remedies - without even knowing the basic calculation to judge lordship of a day - some science that is! So there are two questions - Days as linked to planets are both good and bad. Also human have good and bad actions in their routine, so specific days for specific purposes in specific timings have been detailed by our sages and they accordingly started and initiated those traditions for our benefit. These are astronomical calculations regarding planetary movements, nature of planets and the experiences of the sages, wise men and reflected in Ved, Puraan and Upanishad. These have identification to culture as adopted from point of view of locations and existence. While Naarad Puraan gives account of the universe. Given below are verses from Purush Sooktam these were also referred to understand the presence of Nakshtra, planets and the combined energy they reflect on human beings as cosmic energy. We also know as part of zodiacal system planets rule over signs commencing from Aries to Pisces. Time however ie the essence for a person to keep himself busy and for day today action. The universe first recognized the bright Sun and later Moon and termed them as Pratyaksh Devataa /Daiv. Human beings started the day routine as mentioned in Upanishad with prayers to Sun and assigning specific times for specific actions. Then there are other forms energies arising from the planets some visible to naked eye and some remote not visible, considered as A-Pratyaksh Devtaa representing for Panch Bhoot communication and experiences out of them. That are from Agni, Prithvi, Vaayu and Jal.The observations and experiences of sages as expressed in Sanhitaa of these Panch Bhoot are not uniform. Purush Sookt Shlok The whole Universe, the

ways of living of ancient man (Aadi Maanav). We therefore can not find
uniformity not it desirable to think the energy in the universe in human
representation or Panch Bhoot can be comprehended as one and the same.

skipping two planets in between, you will get the following order (of weekdays): The logic of weekday
sequence was discovered by Babylonians around 400 BC, but the explanation
provided is from Soorya Siddhaant, Bhoogol Adhyaaya, verse 78-79, in
which rationale for determining lordships of Horaa, Day, Month and Year is
given. Soorya Siddhaant mentions that it was composed at the end of Krit
Yug. Whatever be the time of Krit Yug in modern reckoning, it was certainly
much before 400 BC. Hence, the logic of lordships of days was invented by the
composer of Soorya Siddhaant. Moreover, Soorya Siddhaant gives the complete
logic of the Lords of Horaa, Day, Month and Year (Horesh, Vaaresh, Maasesh,
Varshesh) with reference to planetary orbits while the Babylonians had knowledge
only of the weekday logic. From the beginning of the Creation (Srishtyaadi), there were 1,955,880,000 years till the beginning of Kali Yug, equal to 714,402,296,627 days (or 102,057,470,946 weeks and 5 days). Two days were short from reaching at the same weekday. Hence, Sunday was the first weekday of Creation but Kali Yug began with Friday (2 days less). Therefore, Kali Yug began with 120 hours or Horaa less, which means after taking out 17 sets of 7 Horaa for 7 planets, we are left with one odd Horaa. Therefore, the first Horaa of Kali Yug was one Horaa advanced in number than the first Horaa of Creation. Soorya Siddhaant says that the sequence of Horaa must start with Saturn, hence if Saturn was the first Horesh of Creation than Jupiter must be the first Horesh of Kali Yug. These computations are based on Mean Kali Yugaadi based on Mean motion of the Sun. True Kali Yugaadi started nearly 51.5 hours earlier. 1,867,612 days have elapsed since Mean Kali Yugaadi up to the midnight of 29-30 May, 2012 IST (few minutes from now). It is equal to 266,801 weeks and 5 days : two days short from the weekday of Kali Yugaadi. First day of Kali Yug was starting point of Friday, hence after completion of 1,867,612 days we will get starting point of Thursday, ie, start of May 29, 2012 AD (Ujjain Mean Time). Since the same Horesh and the same Vaaresh repeat after each week, we have to tackle only the remaining odd days which are 5 days or 120 Horaa in this case. Leaving out the divisibles of 7, we are left with odd one Horaa. Hence, after midnight, 29th May 2012 will begin with Mars as the Horesh, ie one Horesh back from the first Horesh of Kali Yug Jupiter. All above computations are based on the Ardh Raatrik system, in which Creation began with midnight at Ujjain. This system is perfect mathematically and is used in traditional Panchaang making (as well as in Saiddhaantik software made by me) and conforms well with actual events. But in actual practice, the 'day' of Hindu society starts with Sunrise and not with midnight. Again, true Kali Yugaadi is the real thing whose horoscope should be effective, while Mean Kali Yugaadi is merely a mathematical concept facilitating computations. Taking these nuances in cognizance, one can compute the Horesh of any day at any time on the basis of above computation. I have taken the assistance
of computer, but mediaeval astrologers did not possess calculators or
computers and therefore sometimes erred in Saiddhaantik computations
beginning with Srishtiyaadi. They should be pardoned due to lack of
machines. Of these four, Horesh is the
fundamental, that is why this science is called Horaa-shaastra. One day
has three sets of seven hours with extra three hours left (22-23-24 hours),
hence the next Vaaresh will be same as the 25th Horesh. That is why Vaaresh
formula has a difference of 4 in the list of planetary order, while Horesh
sequence is linear progression beginning with the farthest planet Saturn.
Varshesh is similarly computed from Horesh, while Maasesh is just reversal
of Horesh order.
Sun--_______ Tue______ _______Thu_ _________ __Sat Now, take one planet from each group at a time, and you will get the Vaar Kram. What does it imply? It implies that each new day when the Sun rises, it sees a planet in opposite directions : on left side towards inner planets and then on right side towards outer planets, the whole series starting from the Sun itself, as if both the series lie of two separate helices intertwined on each other in a double helix like the DNA or a serpent pair. The Sun starts from itself and gives lordships of succeeding days to other planets in this order, on the egalitarian principle of equality of both groups. Original mindset which
imagined Jyotish was very different from modern mindset. There are many mediaeval
handy formulas of computing Horesh, starting from some nearby date instead
of Srishtiyaadi or Kali Yugaadi. You can easily devise a formula from the
beginning of the 21th century. But that will need Ahargan computation.
Unless you compute the actual number of elapsed Horaa or Vaar from your
chosen zero date, you cannot get the accurate current result. All
shortcuts divorced from the Saiddhaantik fundamentals will be wrong. The method I cited
(wrote to me by Shenoy ji a few days back) is rather simple does not
require to create tables. The only criteria is one should know the days
Kali Din number. It is as simple as that and any 8th standard student can
know the Vaar from that number. By the above scheme There are 14 Bhuvan (Lok or worlds), and we are in the middle. Hence, we can see only 7 Bhuvan at a time, which means we can see only 13.7 billion years of Creation at present. That is the extent of most distant light scientists see. After Lord Brahmaa awakes, he needs nearly 17 million years to create the Creation, after which the Srishti starts, before that only Kalp exists. Since there was no planetary motion before the beginning of Srishti, it was only Sunday before Srishti began, because before the first day of Srishti, which was Sunday, there was no day at all for entire night of the Lord. Thus, we can say He rests on Sunday, as Bible says. We ate little ants in these vast realms and should not venture further than our tiny legs support. The topic about Vaar Chakra
is closed, although one can extend it into previous Kalp as well. After
all, Brahmaa Jee lives for 72,000 Kalp, and is born again and again from
Vishnu Ji's navel. And wherefrom Vishnu Jee came? A Shaiv would say from
Shiv's dance. And a Shaakt will say Shakti is the Primordial Cause. Find
that Primordial Vaar or Horaa. We do not NEED that. The same Horesh is
repeated after a week, hence prepare a table of 168 Horesh for any given
week on the basis of Saiddhaantik method I have described, and use it for
any week previous or succeeding beginning from same weekday. Each
particular weekday will begin with a particular Horesh. Do the rest of
computation yourself on the basis of computations I have already provided.
