Stars (Nakshtara) and Days have Dhurank. Dhurank are the numbers attributed to Nakshatra and Vaar (days). There could be similar numbers given for Tithi, planets too. These numbers are used in the computation of certain results. Probably the numbers thus obtained after multiplication, division etc would indicate some result so unless the context is provided in which these numbers are given, there is no way any one could understand it. Or at least refer to the classic or text in which they are given.
