Birth Time Rectification-2 |
Birth Time Rectification (BTR)-2 in Vaidik Astrology See also Birth Time Rectification in KP System BTR with Kundalee Software
Illustration -- Here is a lady whose Let us check the accuracy of
this birth time given, before I start studying the same.
Lagna is Capricorn - Lord is Saturn The above is known as the LSRD Method -- Note down these Lords and remember that if you find Raahu or Ketu in the Raashis of the above planets, then write Raahu and Ketu also along with the above planets. Raahu is presently in Saturn's Raashi So the LSRD Planets would be - Saturn, Sun, Rahu and Venus. If the difference is just a
few minutes as per the client, then the best way to check is, Her Birth time is perfect, and we can now confidently move ahead to study the chart and start predicting. Now be careful, there are further rules in the Ruling Planets method. As you will advance in your studies, you will learn how to use them. At times we have to use Asc Star Lord too of the Time of Judgment. Retrograde planets or planets in LSRD in constellations of retrograde planets have to be kept behind the screen. Suppose the Sub Lord had not matched the LSRD? Then you would have had to move the birth time, either forward or behind by a few seconds to few minutes, to make the Sub-Lord Planet, one from among the LSRD Planets, you have noted. What about rectification when the difference of hours or days or months is there? This too can be done from the Ruling Planets method, but of course this needs expertise and practice, For most of you the charts that would be coming would mainly have difference of few minutes here or there. In Mr Pathis chart, the rectification was a bit complicated, hence did not put it here. I want people to understand and then move forward. The above is a most simple way of checking the accuracy of the Birth Time, and takes 2 minutes, maximum, to verify, and 5 minutes to 1 hour to rectify, if the birth time is not accurate. The above lady, is Mrs Menaka Gandhi. I picked her chart at random, for verification method, and was happy with the results. There is no need to wait for learning full KP. till then you can start. There is no need to buy any software. Use JHora. And remember always, those who wish to learn more, must learn to share more, whatever they have and possess. Note - Strictly
speaking, even in Traditional approach, one good astrologer must be on the
lookout for all the Sandhis in a chart. For instance if any planet is at
29.30 degrees or 1 degrees at the end or beginning of a Sign respectively
it is his duty to check the results of the planet both ways and ascertain
where the planet must actually be, and what would be the changes if the
Birth time is moved 1-3 minutes plus or minus. How does this effect? Same
should be done on the Nakshatra Sandhi part specially. I tried this method but got into couple of confusions. Hope you will find time to enlighten me further on this! (1.) We know that the sub-lord changes after every 2-5 minutes. It means sub-lord stays same for 2-5 minutes. Suppose birth time is 1.45 AM and sub-lord changes at 1.49 AM. I understand we should take the starting time when it changes and not ending time eg we should take 1.49.27 AM as correct Birth Time and not 1.53.22 AM. Pls. confirm. REPLY - The Sub start or the end to be taken, depends on the Sub Sub Lord which is the 4th level rectification , which requires you to again choose one of the RP's from your List. Once you choose the Sub Sub Lord, then automatically your Sub Lord degrees would become perfect, and you can adjust the Birth time accordingly. if You are a novice then it would be difficult for you. You need practice of the same, and at the moment presently just try to rectify the charts in your family and circle, up till the Sub Lord level, if they need to be rectified. At least that much more accurate would the charts become after your efforts. (2.) Suppose I came across a chart in which the expected deviation is more than 25 minutes, in that case the sub-lord would be changing 10-11 times (25+25 minutes) then should be take the sub-lord nearest to the said Birth Time? Since in 45-50 minutes duration, I may come across 2-3 sub-lords who are in current LSRD. REPLY - Make sure
of the Star-Lord whether it is right first, then choose the Main Planet
from the List of RPs. And you would also be guided by the native of the
range of timings difference and whether plus or minus, so that you know in
which direction to move accordingly. What You are asking is advanced
queries . I would like you to first learn to fix the Sub Lord
for few minutes difference and not jump to those charts where there is
difference of 1/2 hour on either side. No You do not take the Sub-Lord
nearest to the Birth time. This is not right. First make sure that the
Star-Lord is right and then proceed as per above principles to finalize
the Sub Lord. REPLY - Keep them out of Your List currently, but do not strike them off. I tried this method for my son 11th Apr 08 given time is 17.50 at Hoshiarpur, Punjab. After rectification, it came out to be 17.50.49 (at this time the sub-lord changes from Ju to Sa). Though Ju is in the list of LSRD but currently (23rd July 08, 15.11, Delhi) it is retrograde. Though I took sub-lord Sa but in birth horoscope it is retrograde. Kindly elaborate. REPLY - Take
Jupiter as the Sub Lord though its Retrograde here, if other planets do
not fill the spot. And Saturn is represented by Raahu, since Raahu is in
Capricorn. If Saturn is not there in your List of RP's then you cannot
take it. "The Lagna cusp Sub-lord in the birth chart of a native should tell the birth star of the native correctly, in one way or the other. Such a Lagna Sub-lord that reveals the birth star of the native, and the birth chart prepared according to that time is the true and correct birth time."... (p.237, Vol II, Astro Secrets and K.P.) Accuracy of Birth time (Jun 25, 2005 10:19am) The KP system requires that the birth time be indicated very accurately to get correct predictions. This requirement stems from the fact the Bhaav cusp lord would decide whether the native would get desirable results from that Bhaav. As a result of this if the birth time is not accurate the predicted result may be 100% wrong. There has been very intense discussion at this forum regarding birth time rectification. Two methods were discussed and conclusion was that the moon connection to Lagna was totally unreliable. The other method discussed was based on Ruling Planets. I am personally not for this method as this is likely to give different results if the same method is repeated at different points of time. The greatest handicap in astrological predictions is the difficulty in reproduction of results for experiments conducted under identical conditions. One suggestion was to check the birth time with respect to mothers chart. This would require that mothers chart would have to be rectified. Then we will have to look at mother's mother's chart…..! This is obviously not practicable. The other suggestion that came in the forum from many a member is to check the birth time with respect to life events. Though this appears to be the best method, it has its fare share of difficulties. First is the difficulty in choosing an event that would take place in majority of people, which would take place at as early age as possible. The second difficulty is that this method cannot be chosen for babies that are just born. In any case, the last method appears to be most practicable and accurate, provided we are able standardize some events and method to verify the same. What is the accuracy required? The fastest moving point in the zodiac is the Lagna. Sun as Lagna sub lord will prevail for the shortest time. All Lagna are not of equal duration. Meen Lagna is just about 90 minutes in duration. That is, for the Lagna to advance by one degree of longitude it would take only 3 minutes. That is, the shortest cusp duration (that of Sun, the cusp longitudinal distance of 40') will be only 2 minutes. Two minutes of difference can change the cusp from Sun either to Venus or Moon. Hence, when Moon or Venus is cusp Lord of any Bhaav, KP astrologer should become alert towards the birth time even more.
The events may have to be chosen which have relevance to different Bhavas,
and check with the cusp lords for their correctness. This may be easier
said than done, but since there are many experienced members in the forum,
finding correct birth time might still be a good possibility. On the issue of Birth Time Rectification, Gondhalekar mentioned that after trying several methods, he has accepted KP methodology. The success rate has been around 80%, and was happy with this level. He is an ardent devotee of KP for nearly 30 years.
