LK-Kaal Sarp Yog |

Kaal Sarp Yog See also Kaal Sarp Yog in Astrology Kaal Sarp Yog and its opposite, the
so called "Sweet Sarp Yog", are by no means ancient. Both these Yog
were introduced by the late Hindu astrologer Gopala Krishna Rao (Meena) in his
book 'Naadi Joytisha', written somewhere in the 1950s. However, Gopala Krishna
Rao never mentioned anything about an Upaaya for this Yog. Kaal Sarp Yog is not
being mentioned in any of the traditional classics of Hindu astrology. It is
also not being mentioned anywhere in our great Lal Kitab. I also like to mention
that my good friend Mr. K.N. Rao from Delhi is very critical about Kaal Sarp Yog,
since it has been misused a lot to scare the people, very much like the way Mangal-dosh
and the 7½-years of Saturn are being used to exploit people all the time. We agree with you. The article I had advised Shri Rakesh Ji to read opens with these words: The concept of the Kal Sarp Yog is a very recent phenomenon, may be just a few decades old. It does not occur in the classic works of Astrology. So very little literature is available on it that the concept sounds as a yet another ploy of the astrologers to make money. Each astrologer interprets it the way he wants. In most cases it is used to intimidate his clients and make a sucker of them. Of course we are aware of what respected KN Rao Ji has said about the Kaal Sarp Yog.
We talk about the Kal sarp yog because it has become a part of our Indian
psyche. Ignoring it would amount to pushing natives to the fraud
astrologers who might scare them and fleece them. At the same time we also
admit that when half the horoscope is unoccupied, it does make it abnormal
and certain Upaaya would be needed to take care of this imbalance.
(1) Ek ne insaan ko sir se pakadaa ho, doosare ne pair se, to khud bakhud unko jagah mil gayee So much use of this word proves that Saturn is called as snake in Laal Kitab. Now that Kaal Sarp means Kaal = time, (Samaya); Sarp - snake. As definition we can say that the cycle of time in which all planets come between Raahu and Ketu in any horoscope will be treated as Kaal Sarp Yog. It is declared name in Jyotish. At other side when I saw in Lal Kitab-- I found some descriptions and definitions as below
(1) Pahaley Gharon mein dum Ketu hote Ichchhaa-dhaaree Shani hotaa ho,
Ulat magar Jab Teve baithaa Azdahaa Khoonee Banataa ho (here ajdahaa is
Ajgar snake) Saanp Shani dum (tail) Ketu ginatey mukhadaa (head) Raahu
khud hotaa ho (Page no. 585 original book 1952)
4.At page no. 623 I saw the definition about bad Saturn as below
It means we can create a shape of snake in each horoscope. Yaani ki Samay ke yaa vaqt ke mutaabik sabhee graha saanp ke sir (head) aur dum (Tail) ko paar naheen kar sake aur ek aisa Yog ban baithaa jiskaa naam Kaal Sarp Yog ke alaavaa aur kuchh bolanaa sateek nahee maaloom hotaa. Bhaley hee laalkitab maen ise is naam se naheen kahaa gayaa hai lekin Raahu aur Ketu ko to Saanp (Saturn) kaa sir aur dum kahaa gayaa hai.
All this is my view as per understanding of quotes of revered Lal Kitab. But
knowledge & research has no limit. I m owed to all learned members &
there views. |
